The thing that needs to be shared the most is information about what is going on and how bad the plastic pollution is in the marine wildlife and also how bad the ocean is being affected by the amount of garbage constantly being put into the oceans. The more people know about what needs to be done and what is happening already, the more people would help save the oceans. It is all about spreading awareness.

People go to school every day to learn things they do not care about so why not use this as an opportunity to teach them about the conditions that marine wildlife live in. People would be paid to go to schools and talk about the ocean and what they can do to help - even if they are children and not yet able to make a big difference. Even doing something as simple as sharing information could make a big difference in the future. The thing that would make this hard to put together is getting the people that would do this. The program wouldn't be paying that much and the school might not want to pay us. There is a chance that the government would pay but it is very unlikely. The only option that seams believable is getting the school to pay so the students can learn.

The second proposal is to make the littering fine higher. Many people treat money like it is sent down from heaven and if you threaten to take that away from them they would listen to every word you say. The amount of littering wouldn't decrease fully but it would slow down enough to make a difference. It would be easier for people to follow the no littering rule if their children or family members convince them to because they got taught about it at school. For this fine to be increased, there would need to be some people that really care about the ocean to put together a petition and if it has enough signs it would be noticed y the government and they would have to respond. Some people would want to stop this from happening because they do not want to lose their money but that is why information about it would need to be spread around about why it is a good thing and to get them to sign the petition.

Advertisement is also like teaching students in high school and maybe primary school about this but the advertisements would be targetted to everyone of every age. It would also be connected to getting people to sign the petition. Hiring a good advertisement agent would help spread the message greatly. To pay for all these expenses, there might have to be a website where people can go and read about what we are trying to happen and they cud also donate. Creating an advertisement would be great to spread the word about the bad conditions marine wildlife have to live with every day.

Many people go to the beach every day and that leads to the beaches being full of plastic wrappings, plastic bottles and other trash that people use on the daily. When they are left on the beach they can end up in the ocean which causes the garbage patch to grow. There are cones that show where people ate allowed to swim so why not ass nets as well to catch everything that is trying to swim out to the ocean. Every day someone could collect all the caught trash and recycle it. I people can respect the cones, they can also respect the net. The net might be hard to put up and it might have to be moved every now and then depending on the level of the waves but it should be worth it to lower the amount of pollution in the ocean.

We need to show people why they should care and how they can help. If we can teach one person, we can teach many. It is very simple. The only way it is possible to help is if we can teach everyone why we should help.

A small step forward is still a step forward.
