The ocean has billions of marine life which are all in danger of dying from the amount of plastic pollution in the sea. Millions of marine life die every year from the amount of plastic in the oceans and that number isn't expected to be decreasing any time soon considering the number of people that are deciding to not care about this issue.

This issue doesn't include only fish and other underwater breathing animals but also includes the animals that live off the resources from the sea. This includes seabirds which have more than 1 million deaths a year from plastic pollution. There are also over 100,000  marine animal deaths a year from the same issue and every turtle in the ocean has plastic in their stomachs (yes, every turtle).

88% of the sea surface is polluted with plastic waste and now has 5.25 trillion macro and microplastic pieces in our ocean. Every square mile of our oceans containers up to 46,000 pieces of plastic (micro and macro) which weighs up to 269,000 tonnes. These numbers are increasing and to this day an average of 8 million pieces of plastic reach our oceans daily which is why seafood lovers eat approximately 11,000 pieces of toxic plastic every year.
